Peninsula Builders was established in 2015 out of a need for a new style of builder on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. Despite being a young company, Peninsula Builders is growing fast.
Peninsula Builders offers dozens of floor plans, thanks to our friends at Spinell Homes, that can be customized to fit the lot, family and lifestyle. Through quality construction and engineering, the company stands by its work. That’s why they offer a 10-year structural warranty. Peninsula Builders goes above and beyond to make sure every client’s needs are met.
Max Matveev
Owner and President
Owner and president Max Matveev started his construction career at just 16 years old, framing for KGB framing and as a siding subcontractor for Spinell Homes. When Matveev started Peninsula Builders in 2015, it was a one-man operation. Matveev spent his days working on foundations, framing and supervising job sites. In the evenings he would meet with homeowners before ending the night with billing and paperwork. But he wouldn’t want it any other way.
Today, the company is growing quickly, and it’s become a family operation. His brothers both work as subcontractors, one is a framer, and the other is an excavation contractor. Matveev loves seeing a project from an idea on paper to a unique home on the peninsula’s magnificent landscape.
Matveev spends his time off job sites playing hockey, hunting, commercial fishing and exploring Alaska with his wife and daughter.
